The poetry of hands that become
the birth place for art
that turn over a new leaf
where finger nails are not adorned but
covered in paint and filled with earth
when the eyes can’t see
here they are softly touching, discovering
showing and giving
gifts of memory.

You can see the latest Nineteen Months contributions here.
Above is a slide show of my contributions to the site over the last three years. If you visit the site you can read the quotations that were placed with them.
Here are just a few:
“Know ye that the world is like unto a mirage which the thirsty one thinks to be water; its water is a vapor; its mercy a difficulty; its repose hardship and ordeal; leave it to its people and turn unto the Kingdom of your Lord the Merciful.”
-Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith
“O banished and faithful friend! Quench the thirst of heedlessness with the sanctified waters of My grace, and chase the gloom of remoteness through the morning-light of My Divine presence.”
-Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah
“The sun is the same sun, no matter from what sign it may manifest itself or from what spot it may arise. Thou must look at the Sun; do not become veiled by the places from which the Sun appears.”
-‘Abdu’l-Baha, Tablets of Abdul-Baha Abbas
“O God, my God! Praise be unto Thee for kindling the fire of divine love in the Holy Tree on the summit of the loftiest mount: that Tree which is ‘neither of the east nor of the west,’ that fire which blazed out till the flame of it soared upward to the Concourse on high, and from it those realities caught the light of guidance…”
-‘Abdu’l-Baha, Selections From the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Baha

“Blessed is he who, in his sore longing after Thee,
hath cast away all else except Thyself.”

If you ever want a copy any of my photographs/poetry/writing anywhere in my social media to put on your wall or to view outside of this space, in classrooms anywhere, please let me know and I’ll give you an opportunity to purchase it. All funds raised go to supporting my creative work. This applies to all of my work.
To protect copyright I will be endeavoring to put less work out there, lower resolution, watermarks etc. It may seem futile, but it is always good to attribute and respect any work you come across online. I will be working on some poetry/photographic works in the future. And to anyone who hasn’t done this in the past, amnesty, perhaps you didn’t realise this wasn’t a fair thing to do.
Why not pay me something now, or support Magic Fish Dreaming, then I can keep making more work. I love to share work and build an audience and all of that, but sometimes people without thinking just print and share perhaps not realising this is going beyond admiring on a wall.
