Mt Tamborine

Walking through the green on Mt Tamborine.

We did our first walk at Mt Tamborine – the Curtis Falls in the Joalah section.

There are many more to do.

We will be back.

We did manage to do a couple more things whilst up there, which I will do a post about sometime soon.

Here though are some memories of green.

We didn’t see any lyre birds or glow worms.

I’d love to see those sometime!

Two Bright Orbs: Shining the Light of Love

Pearlz Dreaming

articleforblog13

When attending celebrations where unity in diversity is not just in words but in action I feel hope for the future of Australia and the World.

I was so happy that my family were able to experience the inspiring coming together of the diversity of the human family and community into one larger family at the wedding of Shannon and Sarah.

I was not an official photographer, just a friend, caught up like all of us were, in the connections made between so many cultures and religions that day.

Here is the Sudanese Welcoming Party who called the Bride into her Wedding.

articleforblog2

These are special moments of connection, where two families become one, followed by an image of a lovely lady who said an Islamic prayer for the ceremony.

Some of the ceremony includes a Baha’i prayer, a song, and some words from the Celebrant.

Shannon’s mother reads a prayer.

Divine Love in the Holy Tree

Mt Lamington National Park, Queensland

“O God, my God! Praise be unto Thee for kindling the fire of divine love in the Holy Tree on the summit of the loftiest mount: that Tree which is ‘neither of the east nor of the west,’ that fire which blazed out till the flame of it soared upward to the Concourse on high, and from it those realities caught the light of guidance…”

The rain itself hath no geometry, no limits, no form, but it taketh on one form or another, according to the restrictions of its vessel. In the same way, the Holy Essence of the Lord God is boundless, immeasurable, but His graces and splendours become finite in the creatures…

“The companions of all who adore Thee are the tears they shed, and the comforters of such as seek Thee are the groans they utter, and the food of them who haste to meet Thee is the fragments of their broken hearts.”

Magic Fish Dreaming

The kickstarter has just 3 days to go.

We are currently at $9491AUD and would love to make it to $10,000AUD if we can – Anything more would be amazing as we would dearly like to print the book hard cover, but we are so thrilled with how much we have been able to raise for our project.

We are preparing our thank you honour roll blog and have been already saying lots of thank yous.  We think maybe it needs to include its own special poem.

We may still look at a few more  creative ways to fund our project up to hard cover level if we can, so keep a look out for future announcements.

To visit the Kickstarter and Pledge for a Book  click here.  KICKSTARTER LINK

For our overseas and blog fans on a budget, there is a $10AUD PDF option and there is still…
