No Geometry

The rain itself hath no geometry, no limits, no form, but it taketh on one form or another, according to the restrictions of its vessel. In the same way, the Holy Essence of the Lord God is boundless, immeasurable, but His graces and splendours become finite in the creatures…

“Water symbolizes the water of life, which is knowledge, and fire is the fire of the love of God; therefore, man must be baptized with the water of life, the Holy Spirit and the fire of the love of the Kingdom.”

“The word of God which the Supreme Pen hath recorded on the fifth leaf of the Most Exalted Paradise is this: Above all else, the greatest gift and the most wondrous blessing hath ever been and will continue to be Wisdom.”

in action and on that hand
is the imprint of the divine tree.

Last Chance to Pledge for Magic Fish Dreaming

Magic Fish Dreaming

The kickstarter has just 3 days to go.

We are currently at $9491AUD and would love to make it to $10,000AUD if we can – Anything more would be amazing as we would dearly like to print the book hard cover, but we are so thrilled with how much we have been able to raise for our project.

We are preparing our thank you honour roll blog and have been already saying lots of thank yous.  We think maybe it needs to include its own special poem.

We may still look at a few more  creative ways to fund our project up to hard cover level if we can, so keep a look out for future announcements.

To visit the Kickstarter and Pledge for a Book  click here.  KICKSTARTER LINK

For our overseas and blog fans on a budget, there is a $10AUD PDF option and there is still…

David Fleay Wildlife Park – Gold Coast

magicfish10

It has been such a relief to not have to pack and move these summer holidays (the first time in two years).

So we have been taking the time to pick activities the whole family can enjoy and to explore some of the special things in Brisbane and at the Gold Coast.

The images in this post are all of a visit to the David Fleay Wildlife Park.

We especially enjoyed the nocturnal house and seeing the platypus, Wally, having a feed on worms.

We loved spending time with wildlife on this trip, only problem, now my daughter wants a pet snake!

I love making books for family members.  I have just produced my fifth book.

I think the latest one may end up being for more than family one day due to its themes of cultural transmission and empowerment of young people, but it gave me such  satisfaction to take what I’ve learnt about writing picture books, photographs and a family experience and make it into a special thank you gift.

These limited edition books are so much fun to make because I can send them to someone who I know will  definitely appreciate and enjoy them.

I often add poems, or a story I may have written for that person, and some like the 50th anniversary book for my husband, were very involved and many others contributed.   That was the most ambitious project to date.

Something about making these books for future generations…

Constancy

Today is the day for steadfastness and constancy. Blessed are they that stand firm and immovable as the rock and brave the storm and stress of this tempestuous hour.
-‘Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Baha

This month I just wanted to focus on tests and constancy. Rocks seem to represent streadfastness so well. I love the light cast on these rocks, representing illumination as one shows spiritual strength.
